Paolo Marchese

Paolo Marchese is a technical officer at the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the University of Pavia. He works at the Laboratory of Geomatics, where he contributes to the laboratory’s scientific, technical, and teaching support activities.

Within the laboratory, he collaborates in the planning and implementation of surveying, geospatial data acquisition and data-processing activities. His work supports applications in surveying, photogrammetry, LiDAR surveying, remote sensing and geographic information systems, providing technical and instrumental expertise for research and education.

He also contributes to the management of laboratory equipment and operating procedures, supports practical classes and field activities, and participates in third-mission initiatives and collaborations with public bodies, institutions, and external stakeholders. These activities include surveys, data processing, and geospatial products for applications related to land and territory, the environment, infrastructure, and the built heritage.
